Mobility Solutions BOP

Mobility Solutions BOP Ltd is involved in the Council training and safety programme. These are held three times a year an six different areas of Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty. The programme includes morning tea, a talk on safety, a group discussion and a chance to share stories of danger points to be aware of and to put requests into the council to change the more dangeous exits and entries off and onto the roads. It is also a good time to tell the council where the footpaths are rough, off camber or just plain difficult to navigate. This information is passed onto the council engineers who assess the situation and book it in for repair. The repair won't happen straight away as it has to go through the council system and could take a few months but there has been a huge amount of work done to make a scooter riders journey safer and more comfortable as a result of these meetings.
