Kia Ora, hello and welcome to our website. We are a family owned and operated business
which we originally operated from our home but in late 2009 out-grew the home based
operation and opened a retail shop/display in Mount Maunganui where you can try the
equipment in a spacious, friendly and pressure-free environment.
We have been selling Heartway mobility scooters since 2005 after Les spent some time
in hospital with some serious health issues. The hospital staff treated us very well but
upon returning home we needed a reason to get out of bed in the mornings and get
involved with life again. This led to our decision to provide mobility scooters, power
wheelchairs and more recently with the retail shop a whole range of mobility & disability
equipment to assist people in changing their lives for the better.
Over the years we have found the Heartway brand to be very reliable and the importers who supply the scooters have always supplied parts quickly enabling us to replace worn parts quickly and efficiently.
We enjoy having contact with new customers and endeavour to match up a need with the appropriate solutions to ensure people can manage their lives with dignity and confidance in their independance. Catching up with our existing customers is always a pleasure as many return for additional equipment as their disability progresses as well as our service department making sure the equipment is safe, reliable and well maintained.
Our recent venture of opening the showroom has been an exciting venture as we have expanded our range of mobility equipment and are working towards providing a comprehensive shop for people with disabilities or mobility issues. If we don't have what you are looking for we have catalogues full of equipment we have access to so we invite you to come in and discuss with us your particular requirements.
